Susan’s First Blauugh
Welcome to the first entry by Susan. When I was hired to work at R Squared I never thought I would be writing on a blog (blauugh). Family, friends and former co-workers I have definitely come a long way in 10 short months. Working with 3 guys isn’t always easy but it keeps me on my toes and most days is a lot of FUN! So I’m calling on all the women out there to give me daily advice or support on working with an office full of guys.
GO CARDS! GO SUNS! And Spring Training is just around the corner!
Codys First Blauugh
Stuart, the tall, lanky, Cleveland lover, decided it would be a good idea to start a blog. So this is my first attempt at blogging or writing for the sake of writing ever. I wrote in college, but how fun is that really? So my first attempts may be boring or dumb, but not as bad as Susans, but stick with us and I might get lucky and actually write something useful. On a final note, here is my 2 cents on AZ sports; Cards will win, Suns are not as fun to watch this year, the Dbacks will win there division and who watches hockey anyway.
Competition Breeds Excellence
More of an inside “joke” between us if you will, in an effort to bring our clients the best possible solutions to their design issues, us three designers have an internal competition to see who can get the most design solutions chosen. And, we figured, with the creation of our new blog, what better place to keep tabs on each other. So without further ado, the 2009 race is well under way with Cody (garrghh) out to a 2-0-0 lead.

Stuart’s First Post
In debates and discussions about site optimization and getting your name out there in today’s digital age, I’ve finally convinced these guys to join the modern world and start a blog. Named “The Blauugh” after the sound that the others made when I try to get them to write (blauuuuugh!!!) this will be your non-stop home for the thoughts swirling in our head. While this doesn’t exactly sound like the most interesting thing to be reading during your day, we feel that it is important that you understand how we think and our views on the world of design and advertising and beyond. So, prepare for a lot of complaining from me, long boring stories from Susan, stuff that’s going to get Rick in trouble with his wife, and nothing from grumpy Cody. Hopefully “The Blauugh” will be something that you will find insightful and at times humorous and most importantly will enjoy reading.
My first post
Well let me tell you about my day - no actually it’s really ugly but not as ugly as yesterday…. so lets talk about the Cards being victorious this Sunday - Who’s with me on this one - I know Scott and Korey are because there is already talk of buying next years season tickets. Ok so now lets talk FBR/Xerox Silver Pro-Am today and from what I can see the only guys I would like to see is George Lopez - what happen to the days when Michael J would play. Maybe it was that crazy SOB who was packing a gun and heckling Tiger in 1999 - No wonder he’s off to Wold Golf Tucson. I’m out.
